Vanessa Nowitzky was awarded a Moonifest Grant! The money will be used to create a giant rope spiderweb she can hang between two trees and perform on! Her dream is to singdance Lou Harrison’s song to Chief Seattle’s words, Where is Man Without the Beasts? to gamelan orchestra.
Designer James Stasek made the above design and will create the human-size web!
Director Michael Meyer has also invited Vanessa to use the web to play Charlotte in a TBA production of the E.B. White classic!
Though Moonifest got the project started, more money is needed to bring this project to fruition. Please Donate!
