This version of Soprano Frogness was recorded before I specified the pitches. I choreographed the movement and the breath, and allowed the voice to do whatever it did with that movement. The movement determined vocal range and timbre. Later, I chose specific pitches in chords.
Nov. 1, 2002. This excerpt shows how the dancers stagger their moves to create an arpeggiated chord. Watch as the flowers each rise and open, just before the Bee zooms in. The movement of the bee's wings created the buzzing melody.
